fornasetti vases produced by bitossi ceramiche
fornasetti have released a new limited edition collection of vases produced by
italian company bitossi ceramiche.
a plaster form of a vase created by piero fornasetti in the 50’s, never went into production,
was discovered in the cellar by his son barnaba. this is the ‘theme’ used for the copious
‘changes’ that seem endless. all the members of this family have a natural inclination
to disguise and an elegant humor.
on show from february 26 to april 3, 2010 in the spazio fornasetti, corso matteotti 1/a in milan.
the itinerary exhibition will then travel to new york and be shown on may 15, 2010 at barneys.
