upcycle motor garage molds ducati 900 SS into copper-colored custom

accentuating the love for its original 90-degree V-twin desmo engine, upcycle motor garage strips down the abundantly fiberglass body of a 1992 ducati 900 SS motorcycle in favor for a much more visually light appearance. the custom design places the black-finished engine on centerstage, supported by a new rear frame and a dynamically sculpted body, which is coated in a unique copper brown colorway.

to start, upcycle motor garage replaced the stock fiberglass of the ducati 900 SS with a new body focused on a dynamic appearing front fairing and side wings that visually flow into the form of a salvaged honda CX500 tank. powder coated, the original frame is welded with a new rear frame that supports a solo seat upholstered in black suede. its color matches the copper tones of the body which features a dark fade rearwards.

at the center of the handlebars extending up towards the windshield, a motogadget motocope mini speedo displays key performance readings. at either side, clip-on handlebars are fitted with motion switchgear and vans x cult waffle sol grips in orange. the bike itself replaces the pirelli diablo superbike SC1 trackday tires for more suitable ones for everyday riding. the front is complete with a LED headlight positioned off-center.

despite its age, the 1992-dated 904 cc engine was simply tidied up and refinished in a black finish. a stainless steel twisting, turning custom exhaust system was integrated with the original mechanics, finishing up with pie-cut headers and a titanium akrapovic muffler.
