bespoke touring superleggera berlinetta lusso unveiled at geneva 2015

developed on the chassis of the ferrari F12, only five models of the bespoke touring superleggera ‘berlinetta lusso’ two-seater coupé will be hand-produced. revealed at the 2015 geneva motor show, alongside their previous year’s collaboration with MINI for the ‘superleggera vision concept‘, the sportscar is a testament to the coach-builder’s design and craftsmanship, as well as the golden age of italian fuoriserie. even as a clear statement of luxury, shown by its exterior and interior, it offers high performance thanks to its naturally aspirated V12 engine.

‘we devoted time to glorify the perfect proportions, the hallmark of touring superleggera design. there’s no need to conceal or overdesign. nowadays, we concentrate our energy into the most significant activity: the validation of volumes and proportions. we keep applying the original touring design philosophy: the volume defines us and shows us our path’ said louis de fabribeckers, head of the design team.
coated in azzurro niourlague paint, the tailor-made car features an unmistakable waistline edge that glides from the front wheel arch and across the body, until it meets its muscular rear. its exterior shade contrasts with the inside, featuring a cabin of dark blue which is split by a cream-colored band, sumptuous light seats, and refined blue stitching. constructed as a three-box architecture, the form of the bespoke automobile’s bodywork is only achieved by manual hand beating of aluminum sheets. these parts which are then hand-brushed, are combined with carbon fiber for the long bonnet, front bumper, skirts, tailgates and splitters, in order to help save weight.
