suzuki's e-survivor electric concept is a futuristic compact SUV

blending the style of the ‘jimny’ and ‘grand vitara’ with a sci-fi aesthetic, suzuki presents its concept SUV at the 45th tokyo motor show. the electric 4×4 offers futuristic possibilities while keeping drivability made possible by a ladder frame and a lightweight compact body. the automaker presents its concept SUV  at japan’s largest exhibition center, tokyo big sight from 27 october to 05 november 2017.

the suzuki ‘e-survivor’ electric concept will feature a total of four electric motors embedded in each wheel, incorporated into the 4×4’s advanced suspension system. echoing the classic forms of the japanese-automaker’s SUV’s, it adds unique design elements with translucent doors and illuminated wheels. in the interior, a panoramic viewing screen stretches across the dashboard with navigation settings, and a 3D perspective of the vehicle itself on the road. the steering wheel also features a touch screen interface, while nestled between the occupant’s legs is a screen displaying their body temperature. traditional wing mirrors are substituted for rear view cameras that can be viewed on the virtual dashboard.
