designed by red yacht design, the ‘superfly GT 42’ has been crafted in collaboration with flying flipper, a swedish company that built several record-setting superboats during the ’90s. together they have cocooned the ‘superfly’s’ in glass, with tall wraparound windshields, and a huges glass-panel ceiling that slides back over the aft cabin. the sci-fi helm features a rectangular steering-wheel, gearshifts, and throttles that extend outward around the captain’s legs, and large touchscreen consoles for easy navigation and control of onboard functions. beneath its sleek, carbon hull is a luxurious interior with a spacious living area, a rear owners cabin with a double king sized bed, a forward cabin with separate beds, and a huge bathroom. power comes from a handful of engine options, the most powerful of which produces 1881 ps, with a top speed of 65 knots. with its stealthy look and its performance capabilities, the ‘superfly GT 42’ could possibly be one of the fastest concepts at the cannes yachting festival.
