after the successful of the original model in april 2014, the second storedot ‘flash battery’ and ‘charger’ fits inside a smartphone to re-energize it within a minute. the new version is much smaller than the previous device and is available for demonstration at the las vegas CES 2015, where a SAMSUNG galaxy S5 is equipped with the technology. this next generation battery provides a sustainable replacement for lithium-ion ones by enhancing specifically synthesized organic molecules.
