smartphone controlled LED lightbulbs by LIFX

based out of san francisco, LIFX labs has developed an energy efficient wifi LED bulb that can be controlled using smartphones. the system is capable of turning on/off the lights, as well as being able to dim and change the color of the ambient glow. featured alongside a specially tailored app, the program also responds to the wireless connection where it can even synchronize playlists to visualize music with mood lighting to match the beat.

by detecting user presence at home when the app is enabled, the conception automatically turns on lights upon arrival, and turns them off when you leave. additionally, preferences can be set for waking up naturally, with a gradually increasing ambient output during the darkest mornings. all LIFX smartbulbs are rated to 40,000 hour / up to 25 year standards, which ultimately reduces energy consumption by up to 20%.
