the silver yachts ‘silver fast’ is an ecofuel-efficient vessel that traveled from australia to europe in 21 days with only one fuel stop needed. the 77m sloop represents the future of eco-sustainability for yacht design and is not only the fourth member of the silver series but is also the most environmentally advanced one too. it can achieve top speeds of 29 knots and has a range of 4500nm at 18kts or 6000nm at 14kts. visually striking, stylish and sleek, the hanseatic marine new build is on show at the 2014 monaco yacht show and is available to buyers in early 2015.

created by vain interiors, the ‘silver fast’ has a contemporary italian in-house design that features an extensive use of advanced lightweight materials. this is ever present in both the owner’s apartment, the four double guest cabins and the three twin guest suites. the boat features functional utility areas such as a captain’s cabin and 11 suites in order to accommodate the crew. as well, the super ship includes an outdoor retreat, forward facing sundeck lounge, bar, theatre room, a winter-garden on the main deck, lounge, gymnasium, sauna and a helicopter pad.

the 952 gross tonnage, aluminum superstructure supports two x MTU 16V 2720kW engines that has a diesel fuel capacity of 112,000 liters. also, there are two northern lights 1066H main generators and a 155kWe diesel one that both have a volvo D7A T motor as a backup. this means that the 252.6ft super ship ‘silver fast’ is independently capable, even in remote or on long voyages.
