a recent statistic reveals that about 1.4 billion people have to rely on traditional kerosene lamps for studying and working when it’s dark outside. since they have no access to electricity, they are forced to inhale toxic fumes emitted by these light sources. slovakian designer lenka czereova has come up with a ‘concept solar lamp’, which features photo-voltaic cells on its three bending arms to be used as a table lamp or a floor lamp.
