sealegs unveils the 12M cabin rib, the world’s largest amphibious production boat

sealegs international limited has announced the world’s largest amphibious production boat. dubbed the sealegs 12M cabin rib, this new watercraft is the accumulation of over a decade of amphibious technology development and many months of detailed boat design, with input from amphibious engineers, naval architects, and other sealegs owners.

the sealegs 12M cabin rib is a large platform boat, purposed-built for a variety of activities. designed in 2020 and ready to be shipped in 2021, the craft features a 12-meter overall length, and can be tailored to meet the needs of owners with up to four berths, a fully enclosed and lockable cabin with panoramic windows, dual retractable electric sunroof, galley with stove, sink and fridge, dining table, toilet and a push button retractable boarding platform.

featuring sealegs large format system 100 amphibious technology, the 12-meter-long watercraft has an incredible 9000 newton meters of torque delivered through all-wheel drive on land via its hydraulic wheel motors. its top speed on land is up to 8kmph and top speed on water approaches 40 knots.
