evolving from the traditional keyboard, the seaboard piano by ROLI is a new musical instrument which bridges the gap between acoustic and digital music by putting the control of pitch, volume and timbre all directly at users’ fingertips. a patent-pending elastic and adaptive interface powers the disruptive platform sensor technology. ‘sea interfaces’ are highly precise and pressure-sensitive, enabling seamless transitions between discrete and continuous input as users play the musical instrument in different ways. the device also capture three-dimensional gestures while simultaneously providing the user with tactile feedback.
