ocgarage is the acronym of oscar classic garage: during his teenage years, oscar tasso had a clear goal–work with engines. he started with cars but his focus moved to working with motorcycles. before long he found himself developing a vivid; passionate; and multifaceted relationship with his bikes. his unwavering attention to detail on suspension and engines allows his bikes to be considered ‘perfect’ by many.
built entirely from scratch, the BMW ‘R100GS’ includes a rebuilt engine, fresh bearings, gaskets and seals. ocgarage included an extra-wide stainless exhaust and larger bing carbs from a ‘RS’ model. these features helped to up the performance while providing support for extra weight.
a feature point are the hubs which were designed by oscar and machined from 6082 alloy. the traditional fork is replaced by adjustable shocks and a leading link suspension setup. flexibility and general all-round comfort is heightened by the use of single custom öhlins shock props, located on the modified swingarm mount.
the fuel tank, saddle, and overall finish makes reference to the vintage world of vintage pre-war automobiles. an aluminum sheet has been constructed elegantly around the handmade frame which is further complimented by the rich mahogany sides.
