the au by KDDI ‘INFOBAR A03’ smartphone, created by japanese product designer, naoto fukasawa, includes tricolored, simple usability, touch sensor keys. the fine aluminum body which can be anodized in four sophisticated colors – nishikigoi, pool, mochabrown and sakura iro, has a beautiful form illustrated by its curves. this, as well as its pleasant hand-fitting size, makes the mobile suitable for every day use. the user interface, named iida UI, which comfortably operates in sync with the lightened INFOBAR, provides a more intuitive interaction with the owner and lets them freely customize features such as the home screen. boasting a 4.5 inch full HD display, the compact model which is the upgrade from the ‘Ao2‘, has a waterproof and dustproof rating of IPX5/IPX8 and IP5X respectively.
