motoped's cruzer motorized bicycle travels over 240 km on a single tank

the board track-inspired ‘cruzer’ bike from motoped, comes outfitted with a spring-seat leather saddle, wooden fenders, and an accessory rack so riders can equip it for more than just the daily commute.

powered by a 49 cc engine, the motoped ‘cruzer’ won’t break speed records, but the 39 km/h  (24 mph) top speed can take riders on a leisurely ride to anywhere around town. it can only hold 1.3 gallons of fuel on the elongated brushed steel tank, but that should keep the motor powered for over 240 kilometers (150 miles). plus, since it’s powered by gasoline rather than batteries, it can be filled up at any fuel station as soon as it runs empty. additional features include a two-speed automatic transmission, DNM adjustable suspension front and rear, 4130 chromoly single tube frame, 24-inch rims, and hayes prime four-piston calipers front and rear. designed for city use, it won’t scale hilly backwoods or fly downhill the way other models from the kansas city-manufacturer would. as far as a city commuter that can be ridden to work and other destinations goes, it’s going to be tough to find something as versatile and stylish.
