MOGABI V3 electric guitar with fan-shaped bluetooth speaker
MOGABI has introduced V3, the third edition of its foldable electric guitar. It has a wider, fan-shaped built-in Bluetooth speaker that, unlike its predecessors, is embedded into the hollow design of the musical instrument. It also comes with a pre-installed microphone preamp, which in the previous editions only came as an option. In this way, musicians can record their vocals and electric guitar riffs and listen to them at the same time.

Removable frames to make the instrument portable
It may not be difficult to bring MOGABI V3 anywhere since the electric guitar is foldable. In the ongoing campaign, the team says that the musical instrument has detachable rest frames to make it portable. Basically, the hollow frame is composed of two removable parts, the top and bottom parts of the ‘sloped’ body. After the musician removes them, they can fold the fan-shaped speaker toward the strings and put everything in the compact guitar bag.

Mogabi integrates amplifier systems in V3 electric guitar
MOGABI explains that the fan-shaped design of the Bluetooth speaker helps emit richer and louder sound. It’s a 20 percent improvement from the previous one, which had the speaker as a tail jutting out from the instrument’s frame. They’ve also tweaked the bass tones to remove the unwanted ‘howling,’ so musicians can get those surround sounds.
The V3 electric guitar poses as an all-in-one instrument because it also integrates guitar and amplifier systems in it. In this way, there’s no need to connect the electric guitar to any external devices like audio interfaces or laptops. Musicians can also just plug their smartphones directly into it for (lossless) recording, if they want.

There’s also a ‘cancel’ button on MOGABI V3’s string body, so the musician can just delete the recordings immediately if they make mistakes halfway. The electric guitar is also rechargeable, allowing musicians to play it anywhere. Maybe not anytime if the battery’s not charged. If they can wait three hours to fully charge it, they can play it continuously for up to six hours in return.
Because of the instrument’s Bluetooth feature, musicians can play the songs on their smartphones through the built-in speakers and be the backup guitarist for the tracks as they practice. As of publishing this story, the MOGABI V3 has a retail price of between 849 USD and 899 USD. The electric guitar’s shipping starts in January 2025.
