the mercedes-benz ‘X-class’ pick up truck is available in three different design and equipment variants, as well as the options of four or six-cylinder engines, rear-wheel drive or permanent all-wheel drive, and a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission. the three versions are aimed to suit differing lifestyles and work environments; ‘X-class PURE’ is a workhorse that is intended for rugged and functional use, whilst still offering high levels of comfort and design; ‘X-class PROGRESSIVE’ takes styling, comfort and prestige to the next level; and ‘X-class POWER’ is marketed for the high-end, offering a lifestyle vehicle that is suitable, in terms of looks and performance, for all leisure activities.

merging the characteristics of toughness and stylish, the mercedes-benz ‘X-class’ pick up truck is their latest model that showcases their design philosophy of sensual purity. from its front to its rear, the vehicle embodies a purist design with stripped-down smooth surfaces and elements of sculpted muscularity. with a a 3150mm long wheelbase, the truck has a payload of up to 1.1 tonnes (enough to transport 17 full 50-liter barrels of beer) and can tow up to 3.5 tonnes.

in the interior, the instrument panel has a concave trim element stretching across its entire width, creating an open feel. it features a freestanding central display which, in conjunction with the command online multimedia system, has a screen diagonal of 8.4 inches, making it the biggest display in the vehicle segment. with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and the high-contrast in-plane switching technology, it offers a display that increases the image quality of the 360-degree camera and the navigation maps, along with many more features.
