karlmann king gets tough with the ground stealth fighter armored SUV

karlmann king’s ‘ground stealth fighter’ is a revolutionary armored SUV that belongs to the batcave. the luxury vehicle is developed by a team of 1,800 people, and takes some 30,000 hours to complete a single car. featuring a 6.8 l V10 engine that can produce over 360 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, the strong SUV’s maximum speed is 140 km/h (87 mph).

origami lines form a strong shape for the karlmann king armored SUV. at 2.5 metre wide this six-tonne monster in matt black is a survival car that looks good in and out of survival mode. the vehicle is designed to operate in extreme temperatures, from minus 40°C up to 90°C  and with its futuristic sharp edges this one feels like it could live until the end of the earth.

the interior is pretty impressive too decorated in alcantara, gold threat, gold colored panels, and dark decorated wood. with a limousine-level rear passenger compartment separated from the front seats by a panel concealing a retractable wide-screen television with room for a playstation 4, a nespresso machine, a mini fridge, a small safe and apple TV if desired, as well as electrically operated pop-out tables and a rainbow of mood lighting. furthermore, the company can install audio-visual entertainment systems if required and satellite internet is also available.

priced at 12 million yuan, or $1.85 million/€1.6 million, the SUV represents a growing trend of investment across wealthier parts of beijing and shanghai where buyers are opting to personalise cars more and more in order to make them unique.
