adorable team of honda 3E robotics concept teased ahead of CES 2018

if CES 2017 was anything to go by then we are sure to see even more and even more adorable AI-equipped robots at CES 2018. proving this presumption, the cute but very helpful team of honda ‘3E robotics concept’ are set to be shown at the technology show in las vegas, USA. with experimental technologies, the designs are intended to be used to advance mobility and make people’s lives better, matching the japanese company’s over-arcing vision.

the honda ‘3E robotics concept’, standing for empower, experience and empathy, are a team of robots purposed to assist people in many situations, from natural disasters to recreation. the most human-like of which, the ‘3E-A18’, is a charming companion that uses a variety of facial expressions to help develop social interactions and relationships. oppositely in terms of AI, the ‘3E-B18’ is a chair-type mobility device aimed for casual use for indoor or outdoor settings.

first previewed at the tokyo motor show 2017, the ‘3E-C18’ is a small-sized electric concept with a multi-functional cargo space. it enhances its versatility with characteristic AI equipment, which truly exhibits how the technology can make any type of robot cute. finally, and once again on wheels and with artificial intelligence, the ‘3E-D18’ is an autonomous off-road vehicle created to help people in a whole range of work activities.
