japanese hardware startup H2L, has released a pair of virtual reality goggles, designed to be combined with the world’s first muscle displacement controller, the ‘UnlimitedHandLite’. the VR headset works with iOS and android devices to deliver immersive experiences enhanced by the movements of your wrist.

the haptic wristwatch-like controller is the second generation to the ‘UnlimitedHand’, which was launched by H2L in 2015 as part of a kickstarter campaign. it works through optical active sensing, using muscle sensors, 3D motion sensors, multi-channel electronic muscle stimulators, and vibration motors to add a tactile dimension to VR-gaming.

both devices are currently available at a combined price of $184 dollars. applications on both iOS and android devices are set to be added ‘from time to time’.
