fusion motor can build your own eleanor mustang from gone in 60 seconds

fusion motor company’s ‘eleanor mustang’ fastback is an official version of the model from the car-heist feature film ‘gone in 60 seconds’ from 2000. the los angeles–based automaker is building the iconic ‘eleanor’ to order after gaining the exclusive rights to bring the vehicle back to life. following a meeting with the movie’s co-producer denise halicki, she granted the fabricator rights to build what looks like a carbon-copy of the original ‘eleanor’.

after being stripped to a shell, each fusion motor ‘eleanor mustang’ fastback is formed with a stylized, carbon fiber body, made to age gracefully. owner’s have the option between five different roush V8 engine’s, ranging in power outputs from 430 hp to 750 hp, coupled with a ford ‘6R80’ six-speed automatic transmission, a tremac ‘TKO’ manual five-speed, or a a tremac ‘T-56’ manual six-speed transmission. exterior refinements include carbon-fiber splitters and spoilers, LED lighting, wilwood brakes, and nitto ‘NT555’ tires. dispelling any confusion over this being a perfect replica,  ‘eleanor’ labeling is present throughout, from the brake calipers to the engine and gauges. as seen on the big screen, the fastback is finished in ‘pepper’ grey paint with two black stripe-accents.

‘eleanor’s’ interior architecture showcases sixties’ style in a contemporary manner with low-back bucket seats, a vintage air magnum IV air-conditioning unit, a bluetooth-compatible sound system, and a tilt steering column from flaming river. in the car’s trunk is where the true fan memoribilia can be found: just as in the feature film there is a nitrous oxide tank connected to the gearshift button that is waiting to be pressed with the same ‘go baby go’ yearning nicolas cage had in his voice 17 years ago.
