Finnish Formula One two-time World Champion Mika Häkkinen steps into designing an electric superbike with Verge Motorcycles in the style of modern steampunk nuanced with a motorsports flair. The F1 champion says he knows from experience what it takes to develop a vehicle that embodies speed, precision, and elegance.

‘I wanted to design the bike right down to the smallest detail rather than just picking the color,’ he adds. To realize his motorcycle vision, he picks out a Verge TS Pro model and transforms it into a bullet-fast ride with a hubless motor, instant torque, and fast charging capabilities. The result springs as a superbike charged with Verge’s technology.

Geometric visual elements for the superbike

The luxury superbike designed by Mika Häkkinen with Verge Motorcycles combines stylish and bold visuals. Perfected down to the last detail, the signature superbike integrates a range of 350 kilometers and a fast-charging time of just 35 minutes. In addition, it features an integrated rim motor inside the rear wheel, which is a patented innovation developed by Verge.

The superbike is built with carbon fiber fairings and a special ceramic surface treatment that prevents scratching. The strong and stylish style is completed with full black shock absorbers and detailing, as well as dark grey and silver surface components. Its 102 kW power output is combined with the motorcycle’s top speed of 200 km/h and a range of up to 350 km. For adrenaline aficionados, Verge’s Mika Häkkinen Signature Edition can blaze from zero to 100 km/h in a matter of 3.5 seconds.
