ducati unveils three folding e-bikes with stylish design + maximum comfort

italian motorcycle company ducati has added to its urban mobility range with three new foldable e-bikes. whether you’re looking to get around the city with ease or go off-road in style, the URBAN-E, SCR-E, and SCR-E SPORT models combine maximum comfort with easy-folding technology.

designed in collaboration with italdesign, ducati‘s new URBAN-E is built around a special aluminum frame that can be folded in a few simple steps. available in either black or gray, the designers wanted to create an e-bike with a clean and linear style. the handlebar integrates an LCD display to allow riders to check the remaining battery charge and turn the LED lights on and off.

the 378 Wh battery is integrated into the frame and itself becomes a style element, recalling ducati’s motorcycle fuel tanks thanks to the characteristic red color and arched shape. the suspension fork, the fat 20″ x 4″ tires with kevlar anti-puncture technology mounted on double-shoulder aluminum rims and the rear fender, in addition to accentuating the racing style, ensure maximum comfort even on the most uneven routes.

SCR-E is the pedal assisted bicycle by scrambler ducati. the fat wheels – 20” in diameter and 4” wide – allow you to travel with full grip even on rougher roads. the 36V, 10Ah e468 Wh LG battery is fully integrated into the frame and, when fully charged, can travel up to 70km. the aluminum frame is equipped with a deluxe handle with easy-folding technology. the rear lights are integrated into the underseat column to maintain a clean aesthetic line. the LCD display includes external temperature detection and a sensor that switches your lights on automatically.

SCR-E SPORT is the evolution of the SCR-E. the single-shoulder alloy rims and road tires give the e-bike a refined and sporty look. the enhanced battery, fully integrated into the frame, LG 36V, 12.8Ah allows you to travel up to 80km. this model features an exaform brand rear spring shock absorber, and is equipped with a 250W rear hub motor. these features, combined with the SR brand saddle with padding, ensure maximum comfort during use. similarly to the other models, the SCR-E frame is also made of aluminum and is equipped with a deluxe handle with easy-folding technology.
