the ducati ‘diavel titanium’ motorcycle debuts at the EICMA 2014 in milan and is the latest addition to the italian company’s ‘diavel’ family. titanium, carbon fiber, high-technology craftsmanship and quality finishing touches, are offered in the limited edition of 500 bikes. it inherits the dynamic capabilities and design shared with all the other ‘diavel’ models and also features the motorcycle industry’s top-notch materials, such as strong and lightweight titanium. designboom was present for the official unveiling of the ‘diavel titanium’ as well as for the brand’s new ‘1299 panigale‘ range.

kitted with the 162hp producing ducati testastretta 11° DS engine, the ‘diavel titanium’ also features the company’s safety pack, and sport, touring and urban riding modes that create a dynamic driving experience. constructed in titanium that has been banded and chemically satinetched to provide nuances of color, its appearance is further enhanced with a dark chrome frame and black wheels. all this combined with the use of carbon fiber for the redesigned air intakes, windscreen and mudguards, make the form look wider and more powerful. the hand-stitched alcantara and leather seat, and the individually numbered tank-mounted plaque are constant reminders of the ‘diavel titanium’s’ uniqueness.
