‘defender 75th limited edition’ in grasmere green celebrates 75 years of land rover

Land Rover introduces Defender 75th Limited Edition

Green may symbolize renewal, resurrection, stability, and vigor, four characteristics that seem to underline the entrance of the new Defender 75th Limited Edition in Grasmere Green coating from Land Rover, a celebration of the British car manufacturer’s 75 years in the business. The green exterior melds with the car design’s black interior, a play of dual tones that come with a 75 Years graphic, available in 90 and 110 body designs.

Land Rover has equipped its Defender 75th Limited Edition with 3D surround camera, matrix LED headlights, and configurable terrain response along with the option to turn the vehicle electric hybrid through P400e or with advanced mild hybrid technology through P400 and D300. According to the car manufacturer, the appearance of Grasmere Green in its Defender line-up is a first, a hue reserved exclusively for the Defender 75th Limited Edition.

Features based on high-standard equipment (HSE)

The 20-inch alloy wheels of Defender 75th Limited Edition by Land Rover also enjoy Grasmere Green, and the exterior enhancements include the 75 Years graphic, Ceres Silver bumpers, and Privacy Glass. Stepping inside, the interior has received a similar treatment with the Cross Car Beam finished in brushed Grasmere Green Powder Coat and laser-etched detailing on Cross Car Beam end caps.

The seats are finished in Resist Ebony, with the hockey stick on the center console featuring Robustec material. The car manufacturer shares that Defender 75th Limited Edition is based on the high-specification High-Standard Equipment (HSE) which includes a Meridian sound system, 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, head-up display, and wireless device charger

Land Rover adds that all Defender 75th Limited Edition models also feature a folding fabric roof or the option of a sliding panoramic roof, passenger-heated electric-memory seats, a heated steering wheel, and climate control. On 110 models, P400e plug-in electric hybrid (PHEV) can be chosen, in addition to P400 and D300 Ingenium petrol and diesel options, which both utilize Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology to optimize power delivery and fuel economy.

Stuart Frith, Lifecycle Chief Engineer Defender, says: ‘Since revealing the new Defender, customers around the globe have fallen in love with it and demand remains extremely strong. This new Limited Edition captures the spirit of the past 75 years, with its color and detailing, and fuses it with innovative new technology such as Hybrid Electric power, Configurable Terrain Response, software over-the-air updates, and unrivaled all-terrain capability.’
