COWAROBOT R1: the carry-on suitcase that autonomously rolls along with you
‘COWAROBOT R1’ is the first carry-on suitcase that follows you as you walk. designed to free your hands from holding or rolling luggage while traveling, the 20-inch case uses multi-sensor fusion technology and robot motion control algorithm to allow for autonomous following and obstacle avoidance. the device rolls at a rate of 4.5 miles per hour, faster than the average 2.7 mph walking speed and uses an advanced sensor in order to find an optimal path to walk along with the user.
its carry-on size makes it convenient to stowaway on a plane and it’s robotic functions only take up 4% of the suitcase, leaving more than enough room for all your belongings. the ‘COWAROBOT R1‘ is controlled via an app, which allows you to lock, unlock, switch to flight mode, check the battery status, the weather, and the GPS location. a discreet compartment is situated at the back, which features a laptop pouch, a place for small electronics and space for other travel essentials including ID, passport and wallet. the friendly travel companion also allows you to charge your phone or tablets on the go with the carry-on approved removable power source.
