with the hope of reducing motorcycle accidents and saving lives, a french start-up has created the high-visibility, voice-controlled kosmos smart helmet. the wearable technology features a distinctive brake light on its rear, which aims to show other drivers and road users what their intentions are. the light can be seen from at least 200m away at night time.

the kosmos smart helmet is a highly connected model. with bluetooth enabled, the protective head gear connects to the driver’s phone GPS which then helps navigation through voice guidance. you can also talk directly and give commands to your helmet, as well as make and receive phone calls. the helmet will even make SOS/emergency calls when it detects a crash or accident.

all the helmet’s enhanced technologies aim to prevent as well as react to motorcycle accidents. furthering this protection, it features a built-in HD camera for safety and insurance recordings. these can be shared to the driver’s socials if you wish to post your favorite journeys.
