focused on delivering uniquely designed and engineered two-wheelers that excite as well as inspire, the concept Z by ed motorcycles is one of the newest examples of the new south wales, australia-based workshop that highlights this desire. it aims to build upon the transformative nature of electric drive trains, which have changed the motorbike’s form, function and riding like never before. the concept Z itself delivers world-leading acceleration paired with a street tracker design.

with a 99V high performance lithium battery at its heart, concept z by ed motorcycles is designed for extreme accelerating. its 850 Nm of torque from its rear axle provides effortless response to push from zero to a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h). this is all with one gear and no clutch for extreme linear direction. the air-cooled brushless motor itself requires minimum maintenance with zero fluids. a co-axial swingarm then ensures a smooth riding experience by eliminating any chain length deviation.

although the large and exposed battery and motor take center-stage, the design of the motorcycle is heavily inspired by street trackers. a minimal, light yet strong frame pushes emphasis towards its large 19-inch wheels, small solo seat and overall aggressive stance. an upright front shield, which features two off-center LEDs as its headlights, completes the bike.
