sleeping beauties: do automobiles dream of petroleum sheep?

something about the headlights and grill of an automobile is not unlike a face, each with a different personality and expression — which begs the question, do cars have an anima? it is a question particularly poignant with the subjects of a recent collection by photographers WE! shoot it, who feature a lineup including an aston martin db5, and a jaguar e type, among many others. this collection of beautifully-curated photos displays these vehicles in their lairs, and is aptly named ‘sleeping beauties’. these cars, whose only purpose is to move fast, are depicted here in a rare moment of immobility.
