‘sense’ by claesson koivisto rune for blueair 

swedish architecture and design firm claesson koivisto rune has created ‘sense’ for blueair. the body of the air purification system
is made from recyclable glass and steel. instead of using touch technology, the top of the unit has a scratchproof surface
with integrated motion-sensitve controls. every time the user swipes their hand above the tempered glass, the purifier turns on and off.
blue rings signal which of the three speed settings the unit is set to. when the filter change indicator goes off, the legs of the structure
become the handle, making it easy to carry to any other area of the space. 

although the body of ‘sense’ is smaller than any previous blueair product, all the technology is still integrated into the system.
equipped with the hepasilent plus air technology, the fan uses less electricity than a low-energy lightbulb while being virtually silent.
to make the structure easier to incorporate into domestic settings, the steel frame is available in graphite black, warm gray, polar white,
powder blue, powder pink and mocca brown. 

‘blueair sense’ was on display at the international contemporary furniture fair (ICFF) in new york.
