during the 2015 north american auto show in detroit, BMW introduced a range of new 1 series models – 3-door and 5-door variations – featuring a modified interior and exterior with a revised engine line-up designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. for the latest release of vehicles, BMW twinpower turbo technology teams up with rear-wheel drive to deliver up to 326 horsepower for an intense driving experience.
updates to the exterior of the new BMW 1 series shine the spotlight on the brand’s new design styling. a remodelled kidney grille and larger air intakes help to emphasize the car’s dynamism in a familiar bimmer style. headlights with a significantly flatter geometry play a similar role. they come with LED daytime driving lights as standard and can be configured with a full-LED system. the rear lights have also been completely redesigned – they now boast the ‘L’ shape characteristic, bringing it up to date with the rest of the BMW family.
