UNICEF asked ammunition to design the ‘UNICEF kid power band’, a durable, child-friendly wearable. the device is part of a program to get kids active, go on missions to learn about new cultures and earn points. the points are in turn converted into funding from partner organizations, parents, and fans. funds are used by UNICEF to deliver lifesaving packets of therapeutic food to malnourished children around the world.

with the ‘kid power band’ ammunition created a simple amusing design appealing to tech-savvy kids who want a wearable that complements their gadgets and their personal style. the band makes it easy enough for a seven-year-old to understand and setup. made of soft, durable materials, the ‘kid power band’ is comfortable to wear for extended periods and sized so it doesn’t interfere with school activities like drawing. the user interface works in tandem with the UNICEF ‘kid power’ app and provides enough features, notifications and animations to keep kids motivated and entrained without being too distracting.
