Japanese brand X-Cabin unveils an aluminum camping trailer that can be transformed into a towable food truck for versatile living. Named X-Cabin 300, the aluminum camping trailer weighs around 750 kilos or less, making it easy for the user to tow with their vehicles. It can be fitted with modular equipment and furniture inside so the user can easily convert the camping trailer into a food truck if they like. The vehicle is built with a chassis manufactured by AL-KO in Germany.

The aluminum shell of the mobile unit, which may resemble Airstream’s design, forms the shape of a toaster with semi-rounded edges. Glancing at the design, a ladder hangs on the rear side of the camping trailer to let the user store objects and equipment on the roof. Small grid windows appear on the side for ventilation, and the rear doors pop open for more airflow and a spacious feeling. Inside, the modular system allows the user to decide on how they want the interior to be.

Modular furniture and equipment for the interior

X-Cabin 300 with ample sleeping space can also be converted into a food truck. Named X-Cabin 300FT, the food truck gets the same body as its original variant. The difference lies in its exterior and interior design since it has to be adapted for culinary purposes. Large windows open up on the side to make way for serving counters, and the interior is adjusted to accommodate kitchen appliances.

The roof and the attached poles can be used to place banners or hang the tarpaulins of the business. As a mobile apartment, X-Cabin 300 and its GLAMP model embody glamorous camping with its well-divided interior space and modular furniture. It is equipped with the same body as the caravan, but the camping trailer version may eliminate the kitchen to make more room for sleeping spaces.

In fact, the lengthy benches can be folded down to become seats and brought up to become a double bed. A table with adjustable height means it can be hidden under the benches when not in use, and the drawers under the seats can be used for extra storage.
