alia yachts launches first of fleet of organically-designed superyachts

‘there’s nothing quite like her in her size on the market,’ explains alia president gökhan çelik when describing the 30-meter superyacht ‘virgen del mar VI’. ‘there are plenty of 30-meter yachts out there, but most are production boats and none of them offer quite the same volume and degree of customization of bespoke design features,’ he continues. the bold but detailed exterior design and interior styling were crafted by omega architects and redman whiteley dixon respectively.

with stunning proportions when still or cruising on the water, the alia ‘virgen del mar VI’ matches its size with grand exterior design. starting from the top, the vessel features a 50-square meter fly deck behind the raised pilothouse with a fully-integrated bridge. below, the main deck aft provides even more room for open-air spaces for dining, lounging and sunbathing. omega architects completes the design with an organically-shaped main body that features interspersed cuts, grooves and cleanly defined portholes.

redman whiteley dixon’s interior design resonates sophisticated inside as well. based on a palette of light oak and dark sycamore with hand-cast bronze detailing, the spaces exude a fresh and airy quality, alongside its casual elegance. this is heightened as full-height wrap-around windows ensure the rooms are dappled in natural light and reflections off the water. from the main deck, the 22.5-square meter master stateroom has two glass doors on either side for access to a private forward terrace. finally, there are also four spacious guest cabins – two doubles and two singles – on the lower deck.

‘virgen del mar VI started as a one-off project, but we have letters of intent to build further units with full customizable interiors,’ adds gökhan çelik. ‘we’re also developing a 37-meter and 50-meter version based on the same platform.’
