alen yacht's 45 day boat is made for cruising rough waters

the ‘alen 45’ is a handcrafted, minimalist day boat veiled in teak wood from turkish shipyard alen yacht. the istanbul-based builder has become synonomous with crafting high-tech yachts, each of which share its minimalist, signature style. this 45-foot vessel features a cockpit grill, fridge, and wet bar, for enhancing the alfresco dining experience, while an eight-person table, and sunbeds can accomodate on-board guests.

the ‘alen 45’ replaces alen yacht’s outgoing ’42’ foot vessel, now offering an additional three feet of luxury-boat volume. the 12-personm day boat shares distinguishable features with its predecessor such as a plumb bow, a high-freeboard, and a deep-V hull with a high walkaround at the bow that opens up to the water at the stern. with an emphasis on the stealthy exterior, ‘alen 45’s’ cabin is not particularly huge, but the shipyard has left the majority of it for a comfortable forward-facing bedroom with a full-size bathroom, plus a reasonably-sized kitchen. 

owners can customize hull color and the interior with any type of wood grain or bespoke finish. like the rest of the alen range, the ’45’ is designed for cruising through choppy conditions with a high-riding bow and protection at the helm. two volvo ‘IPS 600S’ engines power the day boat to a top speed of 38 knots, and cruise speed of 30 knots, with an overall range of 300 nautical miles.
