2020 lotus evora GT is an even lighter, faster and powerful supercar

with the 2020 ‘evora GT’, lotus has revealed its fastest and most powerful road-going car to date. it enhances 416 hp and 430 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and to a top speed of 188 mph (303 km/h). this is thanks to a specially calibrated and tuned supercharged 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine. the model is set to replace the ‘evora sport 410’ and the ‘evora 400’, specifically in north america.

the lotus ‘evora GT’ constructs its aerodynamically-sleek silhouette from lightweight carbon fiber components, including the front access panel, roof panel, one-piece louvred tailgate, and diffuser surrounds. this not only drops its weight to only 1,408 kg but also helps generate up to 64 kg of downforce. the GT-class coupe manages airflow under and over the car with a front lip, front wheel arch air louvres, sculpted rear wheel ducts, a rear diffuser, and curved lower A-panels.

available in either a two-seat or 2+2 configuration, the car’s interior is designed to match its sporty performance. the dashboard, door panels, transmissions tunnel and center console are all trimmed in black alcantara that is complemented by contrasting twin color stitching. lastly, as the focus of the driver, the lightweight magnesium steering wheel is upholstered in a mix of alcantara and leather.
