2015 mercedes-benz GLA class compact SUV

making its world premiere at the international motor show in frankfurt in september, the 2015 GLA-class by mercedes-benz introduces the german manufacturer’s first compact sports utility vehicle. equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 208 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, the SUV pairs a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission with 4matic all-wheel drive to launch it from 0-100km/h (60 mph) in only 6.4 seconds.

for the exterior, the GLA features an upright front end with a twin-louver grille that accentuates the vehicle’s wide, but raised vehicle body and muscular large wheel arches. conceived with divided LED tail lights, the rear axle is also emphasized by the inward taper of the C-pillars, which joins from the gradual belt-line trim from the rear doors and contoured side profile. inside, the cockpit receives combinations of high-grade materials such as leather seats and galvanized trim surfaces with heavy emphasis on a horizontal configuration.
