expanding its lineup with the 2014 CLA class, mercedes-benz has introduced a new four-door coupe at the 2013 NAIAS in detroit, that takes design cues from the CLS. delivering 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque from its 1.8-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, the CLA claims to be the most aerodynamic series production car with a drag coefficient of 0.23 – compared to that of the tesla model S which has a 0.24 drag coefficient. with features such as 4MATIC all-wheel drive, frame-less doors and ‘collision prevention assist’ the four-door coupe integrates a radar-based braking system capable of warning users of obstacles and to anticipate braking force when the driver steps on the brake pedal.
