founded in 1999 by wim ouboter, micro produces vehicle for micro-mobility including its microlino series and the first kick scooter. the development of the microlino, led by wim ouboter's sons merlin and oliver, began in 2015. it was originally intended as a PR stunt for the geneva motor show, but after the public’s interest exceeded all expectations, micro decided to start it as a microcar series.
