james kerwin is an english photographer and visual storyteller based in norwich, norfolk. kerwin travels around europe in search of beautifully abandoned spaces, from churches which he immortalizes by capturing the mystical to grandiose theatres and regal palaces. after six years behind the camera shooting in a variety of genres, he somehow fell into architecture and location photography. it was in 2014 that kerwin began shooting his first abandoned building series entitled ‘decadence’. three years have gone by and he has built up an impressive portfolio of both interior and location photography taken in some of the most unique spots in the world.
