benthem crouwel architects was founded in 1979 by jan benthem and mels crouwel. today, the architecture firm has a staff of 50 people, and offices in amsterdam and aachen. the studio has designed a broad range of buildings, infrastructure, and interiors: museums, shopping malls, universities, music buildings, bridges, assisted living complexes, and master plans. recent projects include schiphol airport, the rai exhibition and congress centre, ziggo dome and the stedelijk museum in amsterdam.
