The kit uses easy to cut paper drinking straws as sticks. Great for testing ideas, or just a fun toy for a budding engineer.

Comes with 50 straws – enough to make a 45cm (18″) diameter dome with plenty of extras to experiment with. You also get 4 extra 6-way hubs to help with adaptation ideas.
Need more straws? The kit can be used with most standard (6mm) paper drinking straws, although we recommend buying a small number first to test the fit.

Age range?
We recommend the kit for age 6+.
There is a choking hazard due to small parts, so it’s definitely not for children age 3 or under.

UKWe’re a small start-up hoping to enable budding Bucky’s to create their own dome-based something. We ran a Kickstarter campaign in 2015 to gain the funding for injection moulding tools and here we are! shipping policy
The kit will typically be shipped the day after the purchase is made, using a tracked service.
Estimated delivery times once the kit has been shipped:
UK: 2-3 business days.
EU: 3-5 business days.
US/Canada: 5-8 business days.
RoW: 10 business days.
refund policy
Returns:
We can refund you if you let us know within 14 days of purchase. From notifying us you then have 14 days to return the kit to us. Once we’ve received it we will refund you. After 30 days we can’t offer a refund.
To be eligible for a Return:
Your kit must be unused and in the same condition that is was received in. It must be received by us undamaged. The buyer pays the shipping cost and we recommend a tracked service is used.
We only refund the price of the product, not the shipping price.
