‘inlayed teak room partition’ by rooshad shroff

mumbai-based designer rooshad shroff has developed an ‘inlayed wooden screen’, which looks at traditional room partitions and substitutes the metal hinges with smaller panels to allow for the screen to pivot 180 degrees. using recycled old burma teak, a text pattern converted into braille is then inset with lighter colored wood.
