hub by allegory

swiss-based studio allegory (léonard de rham + albert schrurs) have completed ‘hub’ an abstract interpretation of the urban and architectural typology. the project is a three dimensional sculpture which goes from a square shape on the wall to an organized line on the opposite side. the installation was created to answer the invitation of the placette art space, where each month the space is transformed into something which takes from the previous month’s interpretation. in allegory’s case, the previous project was a hanging middle-eastern scarf, in other words a two dimensional knotted square piece of fabric hung on the wall.
