zig zag by isabel ponce from spain
designer's own words:
each time a door opens or closes, it becomes a silent witness of the coming and going, the entering and getting out… this movement is the one that the zig-zag handle reflects with its changes of direction. its shape is inspired by the “die stijl” aesthetic and by the work of rietveld, pioneer of the modern movement of the beginning of the 20th century.
zig-zag is characterized by breaking up with the classic composition of handles, since it integrates all its components creating a single element on its own (thanks to the effect of continuous strip). its linear geometry fits the required standards relating to the mechanical parts, functionality and ergonomics. the collection includes the needed accessories for keyholes, lockers and electronic cards for hotels.
