As most parents of teenage children will have experienced, an almost unsolvable problem with furnishing a teenager’s room is that teenagers actually do not like any furniture at all. Still in search of a distinctive style of his or her own, the furnishing ideas of most teenagers are motivated on the one hand by the wish of getting rid of their children’s room furniture. On the other hand they categorically resist their parents’ rational “this is what you need” arguments.

In its original state, "wrap" is a crossshaped carpet/mattress measuring 240 x 240 cm. Its core consists of a 5 cm layer of high resilience foam material, covered by a two-colour woollen fabric of highly durable and machine washable quality.

Each of "wrap’s" carpet-arms may be quickly rolled up and easily fixed in this state by robust clips. Thus "wrap" reforms itself again and again. With its owner’s changeable moods it changes its “identity” from carpet to lounger, seat, couch or cosy nest.
