WINGS. A stainless steel handle with a silk-like finish and shiny borders and buttons.
With this project we wanted to understand toward what kind of environment this handle was oriented.
Among all of the elements that contribute to determining the identity of a space
(house, office, hotel, etc.), the handle is perhaps the only one that repeats itself and that expands throughout the space and from this repetition draws expressive strength. For this reason, it must always be capable of synchronizing with a large number of other objects. Nevertheless, it seems useless for us to think about an object that strives to adapt to every type of environment.
"WINGS"
This is the name with which we conceived the project. It addresses a particularly
modern environment, but not one of mass consumption. An object that, as we intend it,
realizes what it is without imitating the current fashions but that attempts to, without presumption, contribute to the history of this specific object on a path of functional elegance.
