handle door “wings” :
the concept of this object rests on the idea that an handle door is an object in tension,
who is offering a kind of resistance but with much flexibility.
that’s why i have designed this handle just like a muscle, as if this metallic object was also made of flesh. so the shape which offers itself to the hand is in the same time soft and firm, tensed but generous.
this handle which will decline according to a horizontal axial symmetry for each side of the door, will offer two very different touching experiences.
it can be adapted in different materials very easily with the fabrication process of knife : with a flat central metallic soul where two parts in wood or bakelite will be glued.
