To refresh the image of a canteen, we designed the counter which will be the trigger of creating new situation for the canteen.

All parts of counter, the top bord, the sink, and the legs, was constructed with corian and each part was combined smoothly as if there was no joint.

So, we were able to give the 7m-long volume of the counter the sort of objet as symboe of the space.

Also, we used corian where people touch with their hands, interpreting that the counter would be extension of people’s behavior. Therefore, corian essence incites people’s sense pleasantly and gives the canteen new meanings: the place to wait for friends, the space to take a break, the space to have a party, the space to work with studio mate, and so on.
