easy chair - w530 x d680 x h800 mm - the proposal consists in an easychair with a work of “sewing“ as an upholstery. the tradition throughout the years and around the world, includes techniques like weaving, knitting, embroidering, sewing... the proposal lets the reinterpretation of knitting technique proposing a present solution with history fragments. the seat and back are framed with diverse drawings giving comfort to the user. the multiple patterns and colors, allow to the aesthetic customization and choice of the user, being able to define an sample book. the formal and constructive proposal is a solution to emphasize the upholstery, from an hidden structure down the curved piece of the seat. technically the seat of plywood wood is molded with double curvature with a grid of perforations. the patterns are made with multifilament thread of polypropylene, that emphasizes by its elasticity.
