The more technology is growing the more different applications are being added to our urban landscape. Urban light is a simple city pole that combines all these applications into a single monumental pole. The basic function starts as a street lamp and a Wi-Fi hotspot but thanks to its color-changing, energy-efficient LED technology, it can be used in many other applications such as traffic lights, transportation signs, weather forecasting or even just as an urban art piece. Urban light uses solar panel technology that can be easily charged through natural sunlight during the daytime. Having 4 LED panels on each side allows multiple functionality when in use. The simple monumental form language makes it universally useable in any country and can be applied to many areas without distracting our daily city landscape.
